Comparison: Manual vs. Semi-Auto vs. Fully Automatic
• Manual Operation: Requires operators to physically turn feed pumps, high-pressure pumps, and backwash valves on/off. Lower initial equipment cost, but demands constant human oversight.
• Semi-Automatic Operation: Uses basic electrical push-buttons, automated low-pressure/high-pressure cut-offs, and manual valve positioning for selective flushing or regeneration cycles.
• Fully Automatic (PLC-Based): Features a programmable logic controller (PLC) panel that automates flushing, tank level monitoring, auto-start/stop, and real-time TDS/flow tracking with minimal manual intervention.
Standard Process Flow
1. Raw Water Tank & Feed Pump: Supplies source water into the pre-treatment line.
2. Pressure Sand Filter (PSF): Removes suspended solids, turbidity, and dirt particles.
3. Activated Carbon Filter (ACF): Eliminates chlorine, bad odors, and organic impurities.
4. Micron Cartridge Filter (5-micron / 1-micron): Acts as a fine guard filter before the high-pressure stage.
5. High-Pressure Pump & RO Membranes: Pressurizes water through 8" x 40" TFC membranes to strip out dissolved salts.
6. Post-Treatment (Customizable): Optional UV sterilizer, mineral dosing, and pH correction
